I'm on xiaomi.eu ROM 6.8.4 right now, rooted and officially unlocked.

This is a problem I'm facing for very long now (lot of last/latest xiaomi.eu ROMS) , and every 'solution' I found so far hasn't worked at all.
All the apps that use the Documents app to gain access to SDCARD can't access it. The one that affects me most right now is FolderSync, but it isn't the only one.
With Documents app enabled in settings>installed apps, it just leads to a white screen for a split second and back to...

Hi,my battery drains so quickly with latest developer ROM of Xiaomi.eu about 1,5-2 hour .someone say they had more than 3 or 4 hour.Can anyone solve my problem?

So I've been looking around and it seems Xiaomi s new flagship does not support mhl ? Anyone know if that's hardware or software related. How can it not support a way to connect to a big screen?
I already have a Chromecast but for local content it is very slow and choppy.

Hi im recording, but the frame rate is under 30 fps in 4K, 1080p,720p and 480p. I'm using 6.8.4 xiaomi EU.

Hello, I have ordered a Mi Pad 2, and have been reading through many threads both on xiaomi.com and this site. There are many versions of the stock MIUI roms and I am confused as to what I should be running.

I know that the China roms do not have multi language support, however, I am a native English speaker. My question is, is there a reason to run an .eu rom over a China stable, if all you will use is English?

Hi,

Okayyy having some trouble.
The story so far...

  1. Bought phone (Kenzo) from GearBest, came preflashed with a vendor ROM (Something like version 7.1.99.99)
  2. Managed to get temporary root using Kingroot 4.5.
  3. Managed to flash the Global Stable ROM using MiFlash in adb EDL mode.
  4. Unable to obtain root on this ROM, given ALL MY DATA WAS WIPED, I need root to allow the app called "DiskDigger" to run properly and have a chance at recovering some of my data, thus I want...

I'm using latest MIUI 8 Beta 6.8.4 by xiaomi.eu and it's the best build I ever used.

The phone performance it's the same. I don't noticed any differences from previous builds.

The phone battery it's significantly better and I manage to get 5h SOT very easy and I'm using my phone as regular ( always ON Wifi , Facebook , Messenger , Whatsapp , Youtube , Twitch , Browsing , Watching 40m+ local video episodes , SMS and phone calls. With previous builds I usually get 4'30-4'45h SOT.

I just bought a new Redmi 3 pro and I immediately have 3 problems.
1) every time I unlock the screen or hit the "home" button I get a "Just a sec..." notification and I have to wait for 1-2 seconds...
2) I can't set any third party launcher as default. I select it, but when I go "home" again it's still the original one and when I go to the the "defaults" settings, the selected default launcher is again the "System launcher". The new launcher is allowed to start automatically in the...

Email Synchronize

On xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5_6.8.4_v8-6.0 email clients from 3. party like k9 mail or maildroid do not synchronize in background. Once the screen of the MI5 is dark email clients fall asleep and do not wake up and synchronize still you open the email client manually.

Has anybody an idea ( besides to use the mi emailclient ;-)) ?

I did however notice that the icon for Skype for Business still says Lync. Do we have an updated icon available, or the resources for the old icon, so that someone could update it?

Redmi Note 3 Usb Transfer Issues (smiui)

I unlocked and flashed sMIUI 8 (6.7.21) to my redmi note 3 and this caused it to stop appearing on my windows 10 pc for file transfers.

I've tried installing adb and mtp drivers and have tried a different pc, the problem seems to be with the phone.

In device manager the phone shows up but is not identified.

I have tried using the miui suite and it works but for some reason it is extremely slow to transfer.

Hi, i have a Mi5 with ROM 7.5 Stable by Xiaomi.EU, everything works but when connect mi5 to PC with UBS cable and try to copy file Mi5 to PC after 5-6 sec. get this message : You can not copy, the device has disconnected. I tried on windows 10 and on Windows 7. In Windows 10 doesn't work, ever. In Windows 7 it works only if you duplicate a file in Mi5... It's a rom bug or telephone bug? Is there a hotfix for this?

Hello,

I am a French user of the Xiaomi Mi 4 LTE, with China Dev Rom from Xiaomi.eu.

I have a problem with my phone, I lose the GPS connection all the time ... It takes a long time to get a fix and then I lose it after a few minutes each time. I can't use Google Maps or Waze in my car...

In Paris, here is the fix gps I have:
