So I just got myself a Redmi 3 pro, which is an awesome phone. It came with some unofficial retailer MIUI "7.9.2.0" and a custom recovery, so I needed to fastboot flash some official MIUI ROM (flashed the Global MIUI 8 Dev) and everything seems fine now.

I do hate some things from it though, since I came from vanilla Android and I always liked that.

1. The notification shade sometimes has white text on white background (Play Music)
2. The app icons are horrible and system wide (black...

Help - Redmi 3 Bricked !!

hello, I installed a new rom through TWRP, but something went wrong, I now have my redmi3(my device is unlocked) in this state:
  • No EDL, No Fastboot, No boot logo and No charging Animaton.
  • Phone is not recognized as a device in Device manger.

Device manager is showing "Qualcomm Hs Usb Qdloader 9008".

when I try flashing in miflash 2016.04.01 with Fastboot rom, the error appears: "0x80070026: Receiving hello packet"...

Battery Stats/battery Issues

Hi Everyone,
I've got a big problem with my mi4c mobile. After battery reaches ~20-15% device randomly turn off and doesn't turn on again (battery is completely drained). When I connect it to the charger it shows 0% and after few seconds 25% (or 23%, or 21%, etc.) and it is charging since that level. I tried to delete battery stats according to some instructions but it didn't help.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do software related or battery needs to be replaced.

Hello to all. I have bought one mi5 from HonorBuy and i received it with your stable 7.2.13.0
All ok but now i like to update it with you last stable version. I think that my device is unlocked... But i am not shure about this. I don't know what method used HonorBuy for put your rom ln my mi5. I tried to enter in twrp but i didn't success on this. What you suggest for me? Thanks in advance

How To Retrieve Files From Hidden Folder With Broken Screen?

The screen of my Mi4C died completely but I am still able to connect it to a computer to retrieve my files. However I saved some media in the Hidden folder.I still know the original pattern for the folder but since my screen is broken I am unable to anything with it. When I try to retrieve this the file is named {[HIDDEN]}longfilename.mp4_encrypted_new. Which means it's still encrypted and I can't open it. Is there a way for me to retrieve these files?

Hi,

I have Xiaomi Mi4 LTE with latest stable Xiaomi.eu rom (7.3.2).

Mi phone has an issue with the navigations buttons, sometimes just one of them is one (the right one).

I am having ramdon reboots, always when the phone is on standby. After catch one of the reboots I have dump the logs and I have found this after power up.

Hi guys,

I just got my new Xiaomi Mi4S and I need help in unlocking and flashing new roms.
Well, what can I say from it is that at the moment it has installed Android version 5.1.1 LMY47V and MIUI version "MIUI Global 7.3 | Stable - 7.3.1.99(LAJCNDA)"

So, i found a guide on en.miui.com but I've seen someone in this forum had a problem and got the phone bricked. Anyone knows something about that guide? if it work fine? if it's hard to do?

First I apologize for my English....

I bought a sim card and i put it in the slot 1, but the sim card doesnt work.
I have done tests and slot 1 doesnt work... slot 2 works with 2 different sim cards.

Has anyone had the same problem or someone knows how to fix it ?

Hello everyone

I just bought 2 xiaomi MI5 phones, one for me and one for my girl. Both are the 32GB versions with 3 gb ram, one gold one normal. I bought them from 2 different vendors in bucharest (because of the color, of course).

Now, the issue is this:
- gold phone has MIUI global 7.3.4.0.0 (MAACNDD) stable
- black phone has MIUI by xiaomi.eu version 7.8.11.0 (MAACNDB) stable

I looked out this 2 versions and i found out that they are not official and i ended up here

Now i tried to...
